The deployment
Agilysys announced the expansion of its relationship with 7 Cedars Resort Properties on 29 September 2026. The estate now supports hotel, gaming, golf, retail and food and beverage operations at the Sequim, Washington property.
What went in
Versa is the property management system. InfoGenesis is the point of sale, in its modernized version. Around them sit Agilysys Book for reservations, Express Mobile for self-service check-in, Sales & Catering for events and group services, DataMagine for document management, and Digital Marketing for guest communications.
7 Cedars chose Agilysys after researching other vendors, on integration capability, cost and fit for a casino environment.
One system across four businesses
The 7 Cedars site carries a hotel, a casino, a golf course and food and beverage venues under one operator. The release states that a hotel guest and a casino guest can be combined into a single transaction at the booking step, and that player offers made in the casino are visible and redeemable while the reservation is taken. Agilysys built tailored APIs for the casino environment to do it.
That is the multi-venue claim in operational terms. The guest offer moves from the spreadsheet into the booking flow. The property's general manager describes the earlier process as manual entry and spreadsheet tracking across two separate steps, reservation and redemption.
What the property reports, and what it does not
7 Cedars reports a dramatic improvement in staff productivity across all departments and an impressive jump in reservations and revenue increases across all channels. Both statements are the vendor's and the property's own account. Neither carries a figure. No percentage, no dollar amount, no baseline period and no independent measurement accompanies them.
The release also publishes no room count, no go-live dates for the individual modules, no contract value and no day rate, hourly rate or minimum stay.
The voices
Glenn Smithson, Resort General Manager at 7 Cedars Resort Properties, names player offer integration and redemption as the property's biggest pre-install challenge. He says reservations and redemption now take a fraction of the time. He credits the single point of contact and the unified ecosystem with putting guest profiles in front of staff and with simplifying the revenue audit. His closing line calls the conversion one of the best he has seen at 7 Cedars.
Darren Student, Vice President of Sales at Agilysys, says the vendor now has a solution for nearly every aspect of hospitality and gaming.
The property
7 Cedars Hotel & Casino opened in 2020 on the Olympic Peninsula. The hotel's own site lists one hundred rooms, from double queens to corner suites, with Jamestown Java in the lobby open from 6:00 AM seven days a week. The resort runs The Cedars at Dungeness golf course and Longhouse Market & Deli. The release counts six food and beverage outlets and five banquet spaces. It places the property 60 miles north of Seattle along the Salish Coast. The property's own directions page reads five miles east of Sequim and 80 miles northwest of Seattle.
The day-use read
A resort that runs a casino, a golf course and five banquet spaces holds sellable inventory outside the overnight stay. The property's own hotel page advertises Specialized Como 4.0 e-bikes for day use, reserved by phone.
An e-bike rental taken by phone is a day-use product with no booking layer and no rate rule on it. Sales & Catering and Book are the modules the release names for reserved inventory and multi-amenity transactions. The release states no day rate, no hourly rate and no minimum stay. It does not say whether that e-bike window, a banquet block or a green fee would sit in the same reservation record as a room night. The question to put to the vendor is whether every block the property sells lands in one transaction record.
What to measure
Time from reservation to offer redemption at the desk. Front-desk handling time per arrival. Booking mix between direct and OTA channels. Revenue audit closing time. Staff adoption on the point-of-sale terminals. Whether one guest profile carries a casino offer, a room night and a restaurant check.
Agilysys serves a hospitality-only customer base that spans hotels and resorts, casinos, cruise lines, corporate and campus dining, healthcare, senior living and entertainment venues.
