Three Days, 23 Floor Hours and a Closed Window
The PRI Show runs 10 to 12 December 2026 at the Indiana Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium. The floor opens at 9:00 a.m. each day. It closes at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The three days carry 23 floor hours.
Exhibitor access opens earlier. Crews enter the hall at 7:00 a.m. on Thursday and at 8:00 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.
The show stays trade-only for qualified motorsports professionals. A badge costs $45 from 21 July to 2 October, $55 from 3 October to 9 December and $65 from 10 to 12 December.
The Midday Gap in the Published Shuttle
The organiser runs a complimentary shuttle between the convention center and the airport and Plainfield hotels. Every convention center shuttle picks up curbside on Maryland St. Turnarounds run about every 30 minutes at peak.
The published windows carry a midday gap on all three days. Thursday service runs 6:00 to 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday service runs 7:00 to 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Saturday service runs 7:00 to 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.
Between those turns a badge holder staying at an airport or Plainfield property holds no published ride. Thursday and Friday leave 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. open. Saturday leaves 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Route 1 serves the Wyndham Airport, the Delta Hotel Airport, the Hyatt Place Airport and the Residence Inn and Fairfield Inn at 5220 W. Southern Ave. Route 2 serves the Embassy Suites Plainfield and the Crowne Plaza Indianapolis Airport. An ADA shuttle line runs at (317) 525-7600.
What the Block Returns for That Window
The official booking portal returns seven hotels for a 10 to 13 December search, all in the airport and Plainfield tier. Rendered starting rates read $144.00 at Hyatt Place Indianapolis Airport, $149.00 at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Indianapolis Airport and the Residence Inn by Marriott Indianapolis Airport, $151.00 at the Wyndham Indianapolis Airport, $154.00 at the Crowne Plaza Indianapolis Airport, $169.00 at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Indianapolis Airport and $184.00 at the Embassy Suites Plainfield. Those reads carry the date 25 September 2026.
The portal lists no deposit, free in-room Wi-Fi and hotel loyalty reward points as terms of the block.
No downtown property appeared in that search. The portal states that the hotels connected to the convention center sell out quickly under demand, and it points to downtown properties within four walkable blocks of the center.
The Day-Room Rate for the Same Hours
Day rooms price against that window. Dayuse lists an average price of $87.43 for a day room in Indianapolis and names Quality Inn & Suites Southport as its recommended hourly property. Both figures were read on 25 September 2026.
The hotelslots.org directory for Indianapolis reads 273 hotels available and a list header of Showing 24 of 273, against body copy of 123 hotels to choose from. Its brand header carries 103,857+ hotels, 46 states, up to 75 percent off nightly rates and $0 fees.
The $87.43 day average sits below every one of the seven published airport starting rates.
What the Block Leaves Out
No block size, no room-night commitment and no pickup pace appear on the printed hotel list or in the portal records. The venue publishes no December room-night figure for the show.
