Accor has signed an agreement with Reve Group to operate Novotel Sydney Castle Hill. The new-build hotel sits inside the Nova Rêve mixed-use precinct in Castle Hill, in Sydney's north-west. It carries 143 guestrooms and is scheduled to open in early 2029.
Accor operates more than 420 hotels, resorts and extended-stay properties across the Pacific. Novotel counts more than 620 hotels in 70 countries.
Hotel Management reported the agreement on 29 September 2026 and called it the first signing between the two companies. Travel Weekly and micenet carried their own reports the same day. TTG Asia published its report on 2 October 2026. Reve Group develops the hotel and describes itself as a Hills District-based developer with more than 30 years of experience on residential and mixed-use projects across Sydney. Travel Weekly records that Reve Group grew out of Kassis Homes.
One hundred and forty-three guestrooms
Novotel Sydney Castle Hill will carry 143 guestrooms. The hotel targets corporate travellers, conference and events delegates, project teams and leisure guests.
Restaurants, cafes and bars, a fitness centre and a pool
The hotel will hold restaurants, cafes and bars, including an elevated dining venue with views across the district. The announcement lists a fitness centre, a pool and conference and events facilities.
micenet reports 400 square metres of event space that can split into smaller rooms. It also records a rooftop restaurant and bar available for exclusive use by event groups and a private dining room for small events.
The Nova Rêve precinct around the hotel
Nova Rêve occupies a site at 2 Garthowen Crescent, in the Castle Hill town centre. The precinct will hold 253 apartments across three towers, rising to 23 levels at the tallest point. It carries more than 1,600 square metres of ground-level shops and cafes and almost an acre of landscaped communal gardens.
Turner holds architecture and interiors. Land and Form Studios holds landscape design.
Apartments.com.au lists four buildings at the site and 253 residences, with the precinct under construction and an estimated completion of mid 2029.
Castle Towers and Castle Hill Metro within walking distance
The hotel sits a short walk from Castle Towers and Castle Hill Metro Station. Apartments.com.au puts the precinct 400 metres from the station.
micenet records Adrian Williams, chief operating officer for Accor in the Pacific region, putting the Metro run to the Sydney CBD at 35 minutes. He cited Western Sydney Airport and the group's hotels at Parramatta, Penrith and Warwick Farm as the demand case for the western corridor.
The signing
Duncan O'Rourke, chief executive officer for the Middle East and Africa and Asia Pacific at Accor, said the signing was a testament to resilient demand for internationally recognised hospitality brands in key economic and lifestyle corridors across the Asia-Pacific region. He said integrated mixed-use precincts were becoming a blueprint for modern living and travel.
Williams called Castle Hill one of Sydney's most dynamic growth corridors and pointed to investment in transport, retail and residential infrastructure. He said hotels were taking an important role inside mixed-use precincts.
Sam Kassis, managing director of Reve Group, said the Novotel adds a globally recognised hospitality brand to the precinct. He said it gives the district somewhere to hold a conference, a wedding or a family celebration without leaving Castle Hill.
The cost and the timeline
micenet puts the wider development at more than 500 million dollars on a 10,000-square-metre site. Accor dates the hotel opening to early 2029.
