Choice Hotels Opens Its 600th Extended Stay Hotel
Choice Hotels International (NYSE: CHH) opened Everhome Suites Denver Airport on 5 October 2026. The property is the company's 600th extended stay hotel.
Choice describes the portfolio as the largest franchised multi-brand set in economy and midscale extended stay. The company dates its work in the segment to more than three decades.
Under Ten Miles From Denver International Airport
The hotel sits under ten miles from Denver International Airport. Choice names healthcare, logistics, construction and infrastructure activity, and major employment centres as the market's demand generators.
The release lists three nearby attractions. They are the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge, the Denver Zoo and the Green Valley Ranch Golf Club.
Studio And One-Bedroom Suites With Full Kitchens
The property offers studio and one-bedroom suites. Each suite carries a full kitchen and a flexible living area. Spa-style bathrooms, movable workstations, full-size closets and additional storage sit in the rooms.
The hotel lists a 24/7 fitness centre with Peloton bikes, guest laundry facilities, free Wi-Fi and a self-service marketplace. The marketplace stocks fresh and frozen meal and grocery options.
Rimrock Companies Owns The Hotel
Rimrock Companies owns Everhome Suites Denver Airport. Micah Linton, chief executive of Rimrock Companies, said the property is Rimrock's second Everhome Suites to open, with several more in the pipeline.
Linton said Everhome Suites complements the company's WoodSpring Suites portfolio and serves a different guest in high-demand markets. He dated the relationship with the Choice extended stay team back many years.
Twelve Consecutive Quarters Of Double-Digit Growth
Matt McElhare, vice president and extended stay segment lead at Choice Hotels International, said the 600th opening is a signal of where the company is headed, with Everhome Suites leading the way.
Choice states the segment has delivered 12 consecutive quarters of double-digit rooms growth. The figure includes 13 per cent net room growth year over year in the second quarter of 2026. The company reported 2.6 per cent global net room growth for the same quarter in its results of 5 August 2026.
At 30 June 2026, Choice reported 598 U.S. extended stay hotels with 60,121 rooms. eTurboNews records that figure from the company's second-quarter filing.
Nearly 30,000 Extended Stay Rooms In The Pipeline
Choice states it holds nearly 30,000 extended stay rooms in its development pipeline. eTurboNews puts the pipeline at 29,900 rooms on the same filing, which it records as 39 per cent of the company's global development pipeline.
Four Extended Stay Brands
The portfolio holds Everhome Suites, MainStay Suites, Suburban Studios and WoodSpring Suites. Everhome Suites is the new-construction midscale brand. Its long-stay amenities include fully equipped kitchens, spa-style bathrooms and customisable "me" spaces.
