HFTP selects Inntelo AI as its AI partner
Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals named Inntelo AI its AI partner. The association runs 83 chapters across 46 countries.
Inntelo AI's agents will run on HFTP's website, on its media titles and at its events. The media titles are Hospitality Upgrade, Hotel Online, Clubs Online and HFTP News.
The agents answer member, attendee and exhibitor enquiries at any hour in more than 50 languages. HFTP said an enquiry that needs a person passes to the team that owns it.
The association's reach
HFTP reports about 100,000 opt-in subscribers across its media titles. HITEC, its technology event, drew more than 6,100 attendees and more than 400 exhibiting companies to San Antonio in June 2026. The release describes HITEC as the largest and longest-running hospitality technology event.
What HFTP buys
Frank Wolfe, chief executive of HFTP, said members and exhibitors expect the association to show what AI does for hospitality. He said HFTP chose Inntelo AI because the vendor's team comes from the industry and has run the technology in working hotels.
Asif Alidina, co-founder and chief executive of Inntelo AI, said HFTP has become a more important community as technology change accelerates. He said AI the industry adopts needs to be built inside it.
The vendor's own numbers
Inntelo AI reports agents in deployment across more than 30,000 rooms in the UK, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and North America. It says it launched the UK's first AI agent in a live hotel more than two years ago.
The deployments it names include CIEL Dubai Marina, part of IHG's Vignette Collection and operated by The First Group Hospitality; CityBlue Hotels, which the release calls Africa's fastest-growing hotel group; and The Gate London City, owned and operated by EQ Group.
Inntelo AI states its agents automate 98 percent of guest interactions, save 17 minutes per guest enquiry and raise in-stay revenue by 32 percent on average. Those three figures are the company's own. The company says its client base has more than doubled in recent months.
The collective behind the partnership
The deal follows HFTP's Hospitality AI Collective. The group counts more than 30 hospitality AI experts and liaisons from more than ten associations, among them the American Hotel & Lodging Association, AAHOA, HSMAI and HTNG.
HFTP was established in 1952. It is headquartered in Austin, Texas, with offices in the EU and India.
