Hilton opens LXR Hotels & Resorts in India
Hilton opened The Den Bengaluru under its LXR Hotels & Resorts brand on 13 October 2026. The hotel holds 226 rooms in Whitefield. It is the brand's first property in India.
Hilton published the release with a Bengaluru dateline on 13 October 2026. Hospitality Biz India carried its own report the same day. Travel World Online also carried the announcement.
LXR Hotels & Resorts is Hilton's collection brand. Hilton's Asia index for the brand lists four hotels: The Den Bengaluru, ROKU KYOTO, Gajoen Tokyo and Umana Bali.
Dan Hospitality owns the hotel, Hilton manages it
The property has traded in Whitefield for years under the Den name. Dan Hospitality India Pvt. Ltd. owns the hotel. Hilton manages it.
The property's own site now redirects to a Hilton page. That page served an error shell at review, so no first-party read of the hotel's own material stands on the record.

Two hundred and twenty-six rooms
The hotel holds 226 guest rooms, studios and suites. Hilton describes intuitive technology inside the rooms. The interiors suit business travel, leisure and extended stays. An aggregator listing reads 224 rooms.
Five dining and social venues
Dining runs across Layla, a rooftop restaurant with Indian and Mediterranean influences, and The Creek, the all-day dining room. The Deli serves specialty coffee and artisanal pastries. The Cold Press serves cold-pressed juices and smoothies from a wellness counter. The Nest is the fifth venue, a social space for cocktails and curated programming.
The release splits on its own total. Its body reads four dining venues and names four. Its lead and its FAQ read five and name The Nest. Five holds with The Nest named.
Wellness, games and a screening room
The Sanctuary spa draws on contemporary wellness practice and traditional healing. The Studio fitness centre and an outdoor pool complete the wellness floor. The Playhouse carries digital tabletop games and a pool table. The Cave is a screening space built for informal socialising.
Twenty-one thousand square feet across seven venues
Hilton states more than 21,000 square feet of flexible event space across seven venues. The set takes in a ballroom, an auditorium, meeting rooms and an open-air amphitheatre. The space serves meetings, conferences, weddings and social events.
The Pause Program and Whitefield Unscripted
Two programmes open the hotel's signature schedule. The Pause Program sets rituals across the stay: a calming arrival, in-room amenities, a sleep kit, a pillow menu and nourishing dining options. Whitefield Unscripted takes guests outside the hotel. The Whitefield Verandah Trail covers heritage bungalows and longstanding local institutions. At Whitefield's Farm Story, guests harvest produce at a local farm and eat a meal prepared by the hotel's culinary team.
The executives on the debut
Zubin Saxena, senior vice president and regional head for South Asia at Hilton, tied the opening to India's luxury travel demand and to Bengaluru's connectivity and culture. Dino Michael, senior vice president and category head for Hilton Luxury, described a hand-selected collection of hotels with their own story and character. Vinesh Gupta, general manager, called the change a new chapter built on the property's Whitefield connection.

The hotel joins Hilton Honors. Members who book through Hilton's own channels receive member discounts, Points and Money payment options, digital check-in, room selection and Digital Key.
The Bengaluru Hilton set around the hotel
Hilton holds an open Conrad Bengaluru in the city. Conrad Bengaluru Airport and Hilton Bengaluru Airport are signed with 300 rooms each at the KIADB Hi-Tech Defence and Aerospace Park for a 2030 opening. DoubleTree by Hilton Bengaluru Whitefield opened in 2024 with Kalyani Developers. DoubleTree by Hilton Bengaluru Airport trades. The Whitefield pipeline holds Slohh by Roach Bengaluru, Curio Collection by Hilton. Forbes placed The Den as Hilton's second luxury hotel in Bengaluru after Conrad Bengaluru.
Hilton counts 28 brands, more than 9,400 properties, nearly 1.4 million rooms, and 144 countries and territories.
