The second documented capacity event of 2026 sits at Fisherman's Wharf. Hyatt Centric Fisherman's Wharf San Francisco announced the completion of a multi-phase renovation on 15 April 2026, covering 316 guest rooms and more than 19,000 square feet of meeting space. That work repositions rooms already in the city's base. The Huntington adds 143 keys.
The Daytime Offer the Property Publishes
The returned asset sells its rooms by the night. Its published daytime access runs through the spa. The operator's Nob Hill Spa page invites guests with spa treatment bookings to use all areas of the spa, including the soaking pool, the terrace and the sanctuary. The pool is heated to 94 degrees Fahrenheit and reserved for treatment guests. The spa spans three levels across nearly 9,000 square feet, and treatments are bookable by non-residents.
The Market the Keys Sit In
Dayuse puts the average price of a day room in San Francisco at $119.61 and names The Mosser Hotel as its recommended hourly property. hotelSlots lists 562 hotels taking day-use requests in the city on 25 September 2026, against a platform total of 103,857 hotels across 46 states.
Engine's San Francisco series carries an average nightly rate of $165 across 3.1 million public rate observations from May 2024 to April 2026. The city ranks 18 of 50 markets, 11 percent above the $148 median. December is the low month at $129 and March the high at $197.
The Rooms That Have Not Arrived
Two downtown programmes hold approvals and no rooms. 555 Howard Street holds a September 2020 approval for a 35-storey, 401-key hotel tower across from the Transbay Transit Center. Its developer, Great Eagle Holdings, states on its own site that the project has been put on hold. 550 Howard Street, the Transbay Parcel F tower that Hines, Urban Pacific and Goldman Sachs Asset Management proposed, would rise 806 feet with 189 hotel rooms on the record. Construction on neither tower has started.
The Gaps in the File
The file publishes no occupancy, average daily rate or revenue per available room figure for the Huntington itself. The property's room count moved across the record: 136 rooms in a September 2022 account, 135 rooms in a March 2023 account, 143 keys on delivery. No published document explains the change in configuration.
For a day-use seller the file leaves one open question. The address's standing daytime inventory is the spa, and access to it runs through a treatment booking. Day rooms across the city average $119.61.
