Winter FancyFaire's January Compression and the Day-Room Shelf

Winter FancyFaire 2027 fills Moscone North and South for 17-19 January beside two other January bookings, and the city's day-room shelf averaged $119.61 on a 16 October 2026 read.

Three Days That Fill the City

Winter FancyFaire 2027 takes Moscone North and South for 17-19 January, a Sunday to a Tuesday. The Specialty Food Association prints the venue as Moscone Center, 747 Howard Street, San Francisco. Moscone's event feed holds the same window as record nid 861.

The floor clock runs 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pacific on Sunday and Monday, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday. Every hall opens at 9:30 a.m. for buyer badges.

The Counts the Organiser Publishes

The Who Attends stat block reads 12,000+ industry professionals, 4,000+ buyer attendees and 1,835 key buyers. It puts the floor at 135,450 square feet and the exhibitor count above 1,000, with 310 first-time exhibitors.

The exhibit page fixes the buying profile. Verified buyers are 63 percent of attendees. Ninety percent make or recommend purchases. Fifty-five percent work at companies with revenue over $5 million. More than 60 percent of attendees are buyers.

Three January Bookings on the Venue Calendar

The venue feed for January 2027 returns three records. Winter FancyFaire holds nid 861. The ASCO GI Cancers Symposium holds nid 857, dated 21-23 January in Moscone West. SPIE Photonics West holds nid 858, dated 30 January to 4 February across the campus.

Two days separate the close of the show and the opening of the ASCO GI Cancers Symposium, and the two bookings sit in different halls. The feed carries no attendance forecast against any of the three, so the month's draw has no venue figure.

The Day-Room Shelf for the Week

dayuse.com's San Francisco page carried 20 day-room cards on a read of 16 October 2026, and the page prints an average price of $119.61 for a day room in the city. Nine cards sit in city districts. The other eleven sit in the metro, from the airport corridor to Emeryville, Oakland and Alameda.

Three city cards carry their own day rates and windows on that read. Hotel Zelos in Yerba Buena lists $144 against a $399 overnight rate, 64 percent off, with a 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. window among five. Axiom Hotel in Union Square lists $122 against $299, 60 percent off, with a 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. window. The Mosser in Yerba Buena lists $91 against $299, 70 percent off.

hotelslots.org's San Francisco directory read 562 hotels available on the same date, with the list header showing 24 of 562.

The Room Base Under the Month

Moscone's FAQ states that over 20,000 hotel rooms sit within walking distance of the centre. The venue's booking page puts more than two-thirds of the city's 34,000 hotel rooms inside that radius, states that San Francisco Travel Association books every event at the centre, and states that the centre does not rent rooms on an individual basis.

Engine publishes San Francisco at $165 a night across 3.1 million public rate observations from May 2024 to April 2026. January sits at $166, one percent above the city average, against $129 in December and $197 in March. Thirty-five percent separates the cheapest month from the priciest.

Engine defines these as par rates, the cheapest publicly available price at the time of each search. Its page states that the figures are not negotiated or booked rates, and that the observations come from searches made 10 to 180 days before check-in.

What the Record Leaves Open

The organiser publishes no block cut-off, no per-property room count and no contract term for the show. A day-use operator holds the published counts, the venue's January calendar and the city's day-room shelf for the week.
