Elina PMS ships Elina 9 for the reservation calendar
Elina PMS has launched Elina 9, a major update to the platform's reservation calendar. Serviced Apartment News carried the launch on 30 September 2026, with the byline Sixuan Wu. The vendor's own homepage carries the line "Elina 9 is here - A Calendar to Love".
The release covers short-stay, mid-stay and long-stay bookings inside one system.
What changed in the calendar
The updated calendar carries customised colours, filters and smart allocation rules. Colours and filters change how a front desk reads occupancy. Smart allocation rules decide which room the system assigns to a booking.
The day-use control
A day-use block sells hours inside a day. It sits in the same calendar as an overnight stay, because both products draw on the same room. Elina 9's smart allocation rules are the control that decides which product takes the room. The colour and filter layer is how a desk sees a daytime block next to a night.
Language settings move to the user
Elina 9 introduces multilingual user-level language settings. Each user picks the language for their own account. The organisation does not have to change in step. The source ties the feature to international and multi-location hospitality teams.
Invoicing gains a schedule
The release expands the invoicing system. Users schedule invoices to generate automatically for a single period or on recurring intervals. Deposits, due dates, credits and VAT handling all sit inside the platform. Recurring invoicing fits a corporate account that buys a daytime block on a schedule.
The platform under the update
Elina PMS documents a set of standing capabilities alongside the release. The list covers all-in-one reservations and property management for short, mid and long stays, a built-in channel manager with more than 2,000 connections, and an integrated booking engine.
Automation runs across rates, availability, payments and guest communication. The platform ships more than 50 reports, lists and dashboards. The vendor counts more than 70 integrations and open APIs. Support runs through phone, email, chat and the vendor's Explore help desk.
Lovold on the release
Christopher Lovold is named in the trade coverage as the managing director of Elina PMS. ClearCourse names him founder and chief executive. Both forms stand as published.
"Elina 9 brings a familiar part of the platform into line with the way modern hospitality teams actually work," Lovold said. "Alongside the new multilingual experience and more flexible invoicing workflows, Elina 9 gives operators greater control without adding complexity."
A new parent company
ClearCourse announced the acquisition of Elina PMS on 7 October 2026, one week after the trade coverage of Elina 9. The same deal brings SK Chase, a digital voucher platform founded in Edinburgh in 2003, into the group. The two deals take ClearCourse's 2026 acquisitions to four. Its hospitality brands already include Giftpro and Rezcontrol, and ClearCourse states that both businesses will use its embedded payment platform, ClearAccept.
What the day-use market shows
Dayuse carries a London city page, and the vendor's home market is the United Kingdom. The page lists day-use properties and publishes no city average, so each rate loads per property. hotelSlots publishes a United States directory. Elina PMS publishes no day rate, no hourly rate, no minimum stay and no per-block result for Elina 9. An operator weighs the vendor's published calendar, language and invoicing controls against their own mix of overnight and daytime products.
