GU27 Fills Three San Francisco Nights From a 5,850 Base

ASCO's genitourinary symposium runs 11-13 February 2027 at Moscone West, with housing and early registration closing 16 December 2026.

Three Days at Moscone West

The American Society of Clinical Oncology holds its Genitourinary Cancers Symposium at Moscone West from Thursday 11 February to Saturday 13 February 2027. The organiser prints the three dates on the meeting header of every page on the site.

Three nights cover the meeting from either arrival shape. A guest checks in on Wednesday 10 February and out on Saturday 13. A guest checks in on Thursday 11 and out on Sunday 14.

The exhibition floor opens at 7:00 a.m. on the Thursday, and move-in runs on the Wednesday from noon to 5 p.m. A day-use desk sells the Wednesday hours before the floor opens.

The Deadline Sits on One Clock

Housing reservations and early registration close at 11:59 p.m. Eastern on Wednesday 16 December 2026. The date falls 57 days before the Thursday open.

Hotel reservations received after 16 December are processed on a space-available basis and may carry higher rates, per the meeting's exhibitor registration page.

The 2026 Attendance Base

The organiser publishes counts for the 2026 edition. Total attendance was 5,850. The published lines add to that total: 5,000 professional attendees, 620 exhibitors, 230 media and others.

Access splits the professional line. Of the 5,000, 4,200 held in-person plus online access and 800 held online-only access.

The Country Table

The page lists the top five countries for 2026. The United States is 3,067, Canada 233, Brazil 160, Germany 160 and Japan 145. Those five total 3,765, or 64.4 per cent of the 5,850 attendees. The United States line alone is 52.4 per cent.

The Professional Role Mix

A second table breaks the 5,000 professionals down by primary role. Medical Oncologist carries 18 per cent. Pharmaceutical Marketing and Sales and Clinical Oncologist each carry 13 per cent. Urologist and Researcher each carry 8 per cent.

The page states its own basis. The percentages cover respondents who named a specific role, and 96 per cent responded, leaving 4 per cent with no answer.

The Registration Ladder

Registration runs three price windows. The first closes on 16 December 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern. The second runs from 17 December 2026 through 22 January 2027. The third opens on 23 January 2027.

A Physician or Scientist registering in person pays $975 as a member in the first window and $1,200 from 23 January 2027. The nonmember figure on that line moves from $1,495 to $1,720. An online-only Physician or Scientist pays $780 as a member in the first window and $955 from 23 January 2027. The Nonmedical or Industry line, open to nonmembers, moves from $1,835 to $2,060.

Registration stays open through 3:00 p.m. Pacific on Saturday 13 February. Payment runs cashless at the meeting, and the page routes anyone who needs to pay cash to the meetings team. Cancellations close at 11:59 p.m. Eastern on 7 February 2027, and a $75 administrative fee applies before that date.

What the In-Person Fee Carries

The in-person fee includes entrance to sessions, posters and exhibits, on-demand session content, and the meeting materials. It also carries three continental breakfasts, three boxed lunches and two wine and cheese poster receptions.

The Calendar Around It

The next edition runs 17 to 19 February 2028 in San Francisco, 371 days after the 2027 open.

The venue publishes two walking-distance counts. Its FAQ page counts more than 20,000 hotel rooms within walking distance of the Moscone Center. Its book-an-event page puts more than two-thirds of the city's 34,000 hotel rooms at that distance.

The Rate Basis for the Week

Engine's San Francisco page carries the city's par rate. February sits at $166 against a twelve-month average of $165, drawn from 3.1 million public rate observations between May 2024 and April 2026. Three nights at the February figure is $498. The page defines a par rate as the cheapest publicly available price at the time of each search.

What the Organiser Does Not Publish

No 2027 attendance figure appears on any page reached. The demographics page dates its numbers to the 2026 edition.

The housing page states no nightly rate, no room count and no attrition clause.
