The IHSAA girls swimming and diving state finals occupy the IU Natatorium on Friday 12 and Saturday 13 February 2027. Each day carries a session. The meet gives an Indianapolis property that sells daytime inventory two dated demand blocks in February.
The season's controls sit in the IHSAA's 2026-27 Sports Seasons at a Glance table. The girls row reads Oct. 26 first practice, Nov. 9 first contest, 18 contests, a Nov. 6 in-season roster deadline, a Jan. 28 tourney entry list deadline, a Jan. 11-18 officials rating period, sectionals on Feb. 4 and 6, diving regionals on Feb. 9 and the state finals on Feb. 12 and 13.
12 February 2027 is a Friday. 13 February is a Saturday.
The session clock
The IHSAA has published no 2027 session clock. The 2025-26 finals ran Friday gates at 4:30 p.m. ET with swimming preliminaries at 6 p.m. ET, and Saturday gates at 6:45 a.m. ET with diving preliminaries and semifinals at 9 a.m. ET and the championship and consolation finals at 1 p.m. ET.
The Friday session opens in the evening. The Saturday session opens in the morning and closes in the early afternoon.
The daytime inventory
Dayuse publishes an Indianapolis page with an average day-room price of $87.43. It names Quality Inn & Suites Southport as its recommended hourly property.
hotelSlots counts 273 hotels available in Indianapolis on its directory page. Its body copy reads 123 hotels to choose from, and its list renders 24 of the 273 cards with Aloft at 136 East Market Street first.
The brand's day-use page states rates of 40 to 60 percent below an overnight stay, with pool, gym, Wi-Fi and shower access as inclusions. It sells by the hour and by the block across morning, afternoon and full-day slots.
The overnight comparator
Engine publishes the Indianapolis monthly curve from 1.2 million public rate observations between May 2024 and April 2026. The city average is $128 a night. February reads $107, 16 percent below that average, and Engine names February the cheapest month of the year.
Engine reports par rates. It defines them as the cheapest publicly available price at a live search, observed 10 to 180 days before check-in.
What the venue's February holds
The Natatorium's events page, stamped updated 9/2/2026, lists four February 2027 bookings. The Jaguar Aquatics Winter Invitational runs 5-7, the IHSAA girls championships 12-13, the Horizon League Swimming & Diving Championships 17-20 and the IHSAA boys championships 26-27.

What each date releases
At 28 January the entry list fixes the schools in the sectional rounds. At 4 and 6 February the sectional results supply the swimming qualifiers. At 9 February the diving regionals supply the diving field. At 12 February the preliminaries name the 32 swimmers in each event who return on the Saturday.
The IHSAA publishes no housing block, no room rate and no booking cut-off for the finals. The 2025-26 ticket ladder ran $15 per session general admission, free for children five and younger in general admission seating, with a limited number of $35 reserved seats good for both days at a maximum of eight per purchase.
