The Three Nights the Block Tightens
The AFCA block carries 23 Indianapolis properties. Its per-night availability read 376 rooms on February 12, 1,629 on February 13, 1,823 on February 14, 1,733 on February 15 and 433 on February 16, on the block's own counts read September 24, 2026. The five nights total 5,994 room nights.
Fourteen properties close their cut-off on January 22, 2027, eight on January 14 and one on January 21. Three hold a two-night minimum: Omni Severin Hotel, Holiday Inn Indianapolis Downtown by IHG, and the Hyatt Place & Hyatt House pair.
The convention opens Sunday, February 14 and closes Tuesday, February 16. The Saturday before it carries no venue record. The next record after the Tuesday close is the WWETT Show on Monday, February 22.

The platform sells four slots: Morning 6AM-12PM, Afternoon 12PM-6PM, Evening 6PM-12AM and Overnight 12AM-6AM. It states rates 30 to 75 percent below nightly rates, no booking fee and no commission markup, with payment going to the hotel. It counts 103,857 hotels across 46 states, and it records state travel law restrictions on day-use bookings in Florida, Hawaii, Iowa and Washington.
Dayuse publishes an average day-room price of $87.43 for Indianapolis and names Quality Inn & Suites Southport as its recommended hourly hotel in the city.
Engine's Indianapolis page carries an average nightly rate of $128 across 1.2 million public rate observations from May 2024 to April 2026. February reads $107, the lowest month on its table, and May reads $158.
The Venue Window and the Room Base
The center counts 7,100 hotel rooms in downtown Indianapolis and 4,700 connected to the building by skywalk. Its rule of thumb closes the facility and skywalks near 11:00 p.m. and reopens them near 6:00 a.m., and it states the window depends on the event in the building.
Attendance at the AFCA Convention requires an active association membership, which runs July 1 to June 30 and includes convention registration.
