One arrival window, two competition days
The 2027 Central Zone Invitational fills Exhibit Hall A-K at the Indiana Convention Center on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 January 2027. The venue forecasts 20,000 attendees across the two days.
The organiser puts the arrival ahead of the weekend. Pre-tournament check-in runs 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Friday 22 January 2027 in Hall F, and rosters must be complete in AES by Thursday 21 January. All teams must check in before they play, and the organiser states there is no late check-in on Saturday morning.
The block the organiser sells
The tournament runs under the organiser's Tournament Advantage Program. The organiser directs all out-of-town teams to reserve through the event's designated housing company and states that reservations made directly with a hotel do not count toward the participation requirement.
The block's platform publishes 107 properties at event rates from $115 a night with a $12.00 booking fee per reservation. The event's posted TAP pair is 5 rooms per 60 miles. Every card states availability for the night of 23 January and adds that an extra night on 22 January can be added at booking, subject to availability. The base window is the Saturday night. Housing opened at 9 a.m. Eastern on 1 September 2026.
The read on 24 September
A read of the live block on 24 September 2026 returned 107 property cards. Of those, 105 carried a sold-out badge, and the room-type rows inside the cards read "None left" 198 times.
Two properties could take a booking. Conrad Hilton Downtown Indianapolis, 0.4 miles from the venue, priced a King room at $312 a night behind two- and three-night minimums, with its Double/Double row reading "None left". Signia by Hilton Indianapolis Convention Center, 0.2 miles out, held six rooms left in a Club Signia Suite at $583, with its Standard King at $208 and its Standard Queen/Queen at $228 both reading "None left". The block's own card spells that property "Signia by Hilton Indianapolis Covention Center."
Seven properties carry a two-night or three-night minimum label. They are Conrad Hilton Downtown Indianapolis, Courtyard by Marriott at the Capitol, Cozy Suites - Block20 Indianapolis, CozySuites - The Block Indianapolis, Hilton Downtown Indianapolis, Homewood Suites by Hilton Downtown Indianapolis and Residence Inn by Marriott Downtown on the Canal.
The block reaches 19 miles
Distances inside the block run from 0.0 miles to 19.0 miles from the venue. Nineteen of the 107 properties sit 13.0 miles out or further, and every one of those nineteen carried a sold-out badge on the 24 September read.
The three furthest sit in Whitestown or Zionsville. Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Whitestown Indianapolis NW is 17.9 miles out, Holiday Inn Express Whitestown-Zionsville is 18.7 and Home2 Suites by Hilton Whitestown Indianapolis NW is 19.0.

The platform sells four slots, morning, afternoon, evening and overnight, and states day-use prices typically run 30 to 75 percent below nightly rates with no booking fee.
Dayuse publishes a daytime-hotel page for Indianapolis and names the Quality Inn & Suites Southport as its recommended hourly hotel in the city. That page describes rooms booked for a few hours or most of the day.
The weekend's own clock sets the shape for both shelves. The block's base night is Saturday 23 January, and the Friday add-on carries the check-in window. The organiser's tentative start list reads 8 a.m. for All Open divisions and 8 a.m. or 11 a.m. for All Premier divisions, with a third heading at 2:30 p.m. and no divisions named.
