roommaster Connects Live PMS Data to Four AI Assistants

roommaster launched AI Connector on the Model Context Protocol, giving hotel teams natural-language access to arrivals, departures, balances, room availability and reservations in ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot and Gemini.

CLEARWATER, Fla., 19 October 2026 — roommaster announced roommaster AI Connector, an integration that connects hotel property management system data to ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot and Google Gemini. The company published the announcement on its own news page. Hotel News Resource carried the same release the same day under a Supplier News heading.

The connector runs on the Model Context Protocol. The release describes MCP as an open standard for connecting AI assistants to external systems. roommaster places itself among the early hotel PMS providers adopting it.

The questions it answers

The release opens on a hotel morning: who is arriving, who is leaving, who still has a balance, how the week ahead is shaping up. Those answers already sit in the PMS. Assembling them takes the time.

The connector lets a team member ask in natural language and pull live records back. The record types in reach are arrivals, departures, outstanding guest balances, room availability and upcoming reservations. Hotel News Resource lists the same five in its own summary.

Teams ask the question. The assistant returns the record.

Two conditions on availability

The connector is live now for hotels on the reimagined version of the roommaster PMS, running a compatible assistant.

The vendor page says “eligible hotels using the reimagined version of the roommaster PMS”. Hotel News Resource renders the same condition as “the latest upgraded version of roommaster PMS”. Neither page publishes a version number, an upgrade path or a list of eligible properties.

Who turns it on

The hotel starts the connection. A team member adds roommaster inside the assistant and approves the connection for the property. Nothing activates on its own, per the release.

roommaster stays the system of record. A question pulls information through the connector under the property’s permissions and the assistant provider’s data-handling policy. The hotel disconnects from the assistant’s connector settings.

What each desk sees

Front desk, housekeeping, revenue and accounts each query the same property data. The release promises role-relevant answers from one operational picture.

Feature depth varies. Scheduled daily briefings, report and dashboard generation, and mobile access depend on the assistant, the account type and the region. The connector itself guarantees none of the three.

The vendor case

Najib Nassif, roommaster’s CTO, frames the product in the release: “We rebuilt roommaster for the agentic era, where AI works alongside your team on every shift.”

The release carries one statistic on the problem it targets. Four in five hotels still spend up to two days a week on manual reporting. The release names no study behind that figure.

The About block gives 30+ years in hospitality software, 125+ years of combined hotel management experience on the team, thousands of hotels worldwide and a 97% client retention rate. The home page metadata carries a tighter count: “trusted by 5,500+ properties”. The pricing page states “trusted by thousands of properties worldwide”. Three statements of scale, at three precisions, all the vendor’s own.

What the release leaves out

No price. The pricing page describes pricing that “scales with your property size and operational needs” and routes a buyer to a personalized quote. It publishes no rate card.

No data-residency detail. No statement that the connector writes back to the PMS. No named launch property. No count of hotels running the connector.

Three checks before a property connects

Confirm the PMS version in writing. Ask roommaster for the version string that carries the connector, then set the answer against your current install.

Name the capability you need and test it on your own account. Scheduled briefings and dashboard generation track the assistant, the account tier and the region. A demo on another tier proves nothing about yours.

Settle permissions before the first question. Decide which roles reach balances and guest records, read the assistant provider’s data-handling terms, and record who holds the disconnect switch.
