Three midweek nights at Moscone West
Cloudflare Connect 2026 runs Monday 19 to Wednesday 21 October at Moscone West, 800 Howard St. The organiser publishes 5,000-plus developers and security leaders, 40-plus ecosystem partners, and 100-plus sessions and workshops.
The stay the organiser books runs three nights. A Connect-only attendee arrives "by 3:00 PM on Monday, October 19" for the 5:00 PM Welcome Reception, and departs Thursday 22 October. That books the Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights.
The Cloudflare University and Partner Summit tracks run on day one. Those attendees arrive Sunday 18 October, which adds a fourth night.
The sellout wording on the block
The FAQ dates the block. Rooms ran "until September 28, 2026, or until the group block is sold out", on a first-come, first-served basis. The band reads $279 to $325 per night across Marriott, IHG Hotels, Hilton and World of Hyatt.
The same answer adds its own pressure line: "We recommend booking as soon as possible, as rooms in the downtown San Francisco area fill up quickly."
No page publishes the number of rooms behind the block. Whether it sold out before 28 September is unpublished. The cutoff sat 16 days in the past at this read on 14 October 2026.
What the day-use shelf holds
dayuse.com's San Francisco page carried 20 cards on a 14 October 2026 read. Nine sit inside the city and eleven sit across the metro, from San Bruno and Millbrae to Oakland, Emeryville, Berkeley and Alameda.
The lowest offer on that page ran $85 to $159 against comparative prices of $119 to $399, with discounts of 16 to 70 percent. Six cards include pool access. Check-in windows open between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM, and check-out runs from noon to 11:00 PM.
Three Yerba Buena cards sit in the district beside Moscone West: The Mosser Hotel at $91, Hotel Zelos San Francisco at $144 and Hotel Zetta San Francisco at $152. The Mosser lists five windows, the earliest 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM and the latest 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The page puts the city day rate at $119.61 and names The Mosser Hotel as its recommendation.
The rate basis for the same month
Engine's San Francisco page puts the market average at $165 a night across 3.1 million public rate observations from May 2024 to April 2026. The page defines those as par rates, the cheapest public price at the moment of each search. October reads $176, seven percent above the average.
CoStar's monthly release for August 2026, dated 28 September 2026, reports San Francisco with the largest increases among the Top 25 Markets on all three measures: occupancy up 6.6 percent to 79.3 percent, average daily rate up 8.7 percent to $216.77, and revenue per available room up 15.8 percent to $171.84.
CoStar's weekly release dated 5 October 2026 covers the seven days to 26 September. San Francisco took the largest RevPAR lift among the Top 25 Markets, up 35.1 percent to $223.16. The national lines that week read 69.7 percent occupancy and an average daily rate of $179.43.
The supply the week draws on
Moscone's FAQ reads "over 20,000 hotel rooms within walking distance of The Moscone Center". The venue's Book an Event page reads "more than two-thirds of the city's 34,000 hotel rooms are within walking distance".
The venue's event feed holds 174 records. One booking overlaps 19 to 21 October: Cloudflare Connect in Moscone West. The week before fills all three buildings, with SEMICON West 2026 on Moscone North and South and TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 on Moscone West, both over 13 to 15 October.
What the record cannot settle yet
Occupancy for the nights of 19 to 21 October is unpublished. CoStar's weekly series runs on a lag, and its latest read on this date covers the seven days to 26 September.
Two published checks sit ahead. The organiser's block page shows whether the 28 September line becomes a sold-out notice. The next CoStar weekly read shows whether the city's lift carries into the Connect week.
