A 250-Room Conversion Opens in Magny-le-Hongre
IHG Hotels & Resorts opened Crowne Plaza Paris Marne-la-Vallée on 24 September 2026. The hotel holds 250 guestrooms and suites in Magny-le-Hongre, at the heart of Marne-la-Vallée. The release datelines Paris and calls it a new destination property for the brand in France. The building is a conversion of the former Radisson Blu Hotel Paris Marne-la-Vallée at the same address, 40 Allée de la Mare Houleuse, 77700 Magny-le-Hongre.
The hotel sits on 2.5 hectares of landscaped grounds. IHG places it about 40 minutes from central Paris and seven to nine minutes from Marne-la-Vallée Chessy station and the region's theme parks by complimentary shuttle. La Vallée Village and Val d'Europe sit close by, and the property provides on-site parking with electric vehicle charging.
Rooms Facing Golf Paris Val d'Europe
The majority of the 250 rooms and suites overlook Golf Paris Val d'Europe and its three 9-hole courses. The release ties the layout to a working balance between productivity and relaxation. The renovation used recycled elements in the headboards and carpets. Walking trails and bicycle rentals run through the grounds.
Three Dining Rooms, a Spa and Two Pools
Three dining venues opened with the hotel. La Clairière serves Mediterranean cuisine. L'Orangerie overlooks the terrace and gardens, serves breakfast and hosts private events. Mystic Bar runs the full day, from healthy morning options and light lunch snacks through to after-work drinks and signature cocktails.
Wellness facilities include an indoor heated swimming pool, a spa, a fully equipped indoor gym and a dedicated Yoga & Pilates space. Children's play areas sit on site. Padel courts, an outdoor gym, pétanque and cinema experiences arrive later in 2026, and the outdoor swimming pool and bar are scheduled to open in spring 2027.
1,500 Square Metres of Event Space
The hotel offers 1,500 square metres of flexible event space across 14 meeting rooms, with the capacity to accommodate up to 400 delegates. IHG positions the property for conferences, corporate retreats, celebrations and social events.
The Blended Travel Proposition
Francelina Ferreira do Amaral, the general manager, said the team set out to create a destination with a sense of escape where guests reach everything the region offers and still find space to slow down. "Every detail has been thoughtfully considered to create an experience where work, downtime and shared moments flow effortlessly together," she said.
IHG calls Crowne Plaza a pioneer in blended travel, the mix of business and leisure travel that underpins its current guest-facing programmes.
What the Opening Adds to Crowne Plaza in Europe
IHG counts 96 Crowne Plaza hotels and more than 20,400 rooms open across Europe with this opening, alongside a pipeline of 21 further properties representing more than 4,300 rooms.
IHG signed the project with the Danish real estate company Proark on 16 September 2025 and expected full conversion in the second half of 2026. Proark's own property page states that the hotel has been operated under the IHG platform since 1 January 2026 and that it is listed within IHG as Hotel Marne-la-Vallée, with full transition to the Crowne Plaza brand expected to be completed during 2026.
