A vernissage opens the week and a Sunday closes it
Miami Art Week publishes a 2026 schedule carrying 18 fairs. The first dated item is AfriKin Art Fair, with a vernissage on Sunday 29 November from 6 to 9 p.m. at Maison AfriKin, 1600 NE 126th Street in North Miami. Its public days run 30 November to 6 December.
The last dated item closes on Sunday 6 December. The run is eight days and seven nights.
Twelve fairs carry a date
Twelve of the 18 listings publish 2026 dates: AfriKin, Art Miami, CONTEXT, Design Miami, NADA, Scope, Aqua, Red Dot, Spectrum, UNTITLED, Pinta and Art Basel Miami Beach. Six carry dates to be advised: Art Beat Miami, Fridge Art Fair, INK MIAMI, No Vacancy Miami Beach, Prizm Art Fair and SATELLITE Art Show.
Two of the twelve publish a range without hours. Design Miami holds 1 to 6 December with its schedule to be determined. UNTITLED holds 2 to 6 December with show hours to be determined. The page's revision line reads 15 July 2026.
The daily count
Count the dated fairs open each day. Sunday 29 November carries one. Monday 30 November carries one. Tuesday 1 December carries six. Wednesday 2 December carries eleven. Thursday 3, Friday 4 and Saturday 5 December carry twelve each. Sunday 6 December carries eleven.
That column adds to 66 fair-days at a mean of 8.25 a day. The opening two days carry two fair-days, which is three percent of the week. Thursday, Friday and Saturday carry 36, which is 54.5 percent of the week across three of its eight days.
Both steps are five fairs wide. Monday holds one and Tuesday six. Tuesday holds six and Wednesday eleven.
The gate clock sets the sellable window
Art Basel Miami Beach runs private days on the Wednesday and Thursday. Wednesday 2 December opens at 11 a.m. for First Choice and again at 4 p.m. for Preview, and both close at 7 p.m. Thursday 3 December opens at 11 a.m. for First Choice and Preview VIP, with a Vernissage from 4 to 7 p.m. Public days run 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Friday to Sunday.
The Mana Wynwood halls set the widest evening. Red Dot Miami and Spectrum Miami open a VIP and press preview on Wednesday 2 December from 5 to 6 p.m., then an opening night from 6 to 9 p.m. From Thursday to Saturday they run noon to 8 p.m., and on Sunday noon to 6 p.m.
Thursday through Saturday therefore hold an eight-hour daytime window at Mana. A five-hour day-use block fits inside it with three hours of margin.
Where a day-use shift can start
The earliest door in the week belongs to INK at the Suites of Dorchester, 1850 Collins Avenue, which opens at 9 a.m. on Wednesday 2 December. Aqua Art Miami opens at 3 p.m. the same day and closes at 10 p.m.
AfriKin's vernissage runs 6 to 9 p.m. on the Sunday before, which is an evening window with no daytime inventory.
A morning block on the Wednesday takes the 1850 door. An afternoon block takes the Aqua preview from 3 p.m. and the Mana evening from 5 p.m.
The last floor of the week
Sunday 6 December closes the dated programme. Art Basel, Art Miami, Aqua and the two Mana fairs all shut at 6 p.m. The AfriKin public run closes on the same date, and so does Pinta at The Hangar in Coconut Grove.
Eleven dated fairs stand open on that final day, and the longest Sunday floor runs 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. A Sunday day-use window therefore carries six hours at Mana and seven at the convention centre.
The page publishes no volume
The schedule carries no attendance figure for the week. It carries no per-fair capacity, no exhibitor count, no ticket price, no parking term and no shuttle.
The page closes with a disclaimer. Miami Art Week LLC states that it does not own, operate or control the third-party fairs listed, and that dates, hours and locations remain subject to change.
A day-use read has the day count and the gate clocks. It has no volume figure, so the room count behind the week stays a local decision.
Where the week concentrates
Three days carry more than half the fair-days. Two days carry three percent of them. Thursday 3 December is the first day twelve dated fairs stand open at once.
Set day-use inventory against Thursday to Saturday, and hold the front of the week light. The schedule supports that read and stops there.
