Travel Outlook launches BLACK MARIGOLD for live reservation calls
Travel Outlook introduced BLACK MARIGOLD on 15 October 2026. The company sells the software as a CRM-intelligence layer for live reservation calls. Its release states that hotels and resorts use it to generate more revenue from guest interactions, improve the guest experience and operate more efficiently.
The company calls BLACK MARIGOLD "a revenue-generating advanced phone system for hospitality operations" and "amazingly affordable". Those lines are Travel Outlook's own marketing copy. No price appears on the release page or on the product page.
The six capabilities Travel Outlook names
The release and the product page carry the same capability list. Reservation sales and agent tools cover intelligent call routing and reservation workflows. Speech and conversation analytics cover AI-assisted interaction review. Quality management and agent coaching give managers visibility into guest interactions and service performance. Workforce management and forecasting support staffing. Real-time performance monitoring tracks service levels, productivity, reservation conversion and guest experience. Business intelligence and reporting measure operational and revenue performance.
The product page describes cloud-based delivery with SaaS, APIs and software integration. It places the product between the guest-service operation and the technology behind the business.
Ascent360 is the only confirmed CRM integration
The release names Ascent360 as the only confirmed full integration at launch. The product page states that the platform carries special tools when it connects with Ascent360.
Ascent360's own site describes a hospitality customer data platform that integrates with more than 150 source systems. It names property management, booking and reservation, and golf among the categories. No third party confirms the connector, and no second CRM integration appears in any document read for this piece.
What the platform does during a reservation call
The product page describes the core behaviour. BLACK MARIGOLD identifies sales opportunities during the conversation and signals the opportunity to the agent. The platform captures prospect information, tracks leads through the sales process, connects lead activity with reservation activity, and measures conversion and revenue performance.
John Smallwood, President of Travel Outlook, described the intent in the release. He said hotels hold thousands of conversations with guests and prospective guests, and that those conversations carry a large amount of intelligence. He said a guest may call with one question and reveal a different revenue opportunity.
Channels and the quality-management set
The release states that lodging organisations can manage guest communications across voice, SMS, email, web chat and other digital channels.
The quality-management component carries call recording, speech and conversation analytics, AI-assisted interaction review, agent coaching, quality monitoring, compliance documentation and customer-experience measurement. Managers can monitor agent productivity, service levels, workforce performance, staffing requirements, guest experience, reservation conversion, contact-centre performance, quality trends, and operational and financial metrics.
The revenue claims carry Travel Outlook's name
The release markets the product on revenue. It states that hotels gain greater visibility into the commercial value of guest interactions, and that the platform turns the contact centre from an operational cost into a revenue centre. No measured revenue lift, no front-desk hour saving and no satisfaction score accompanies those statements.
Travel Outlook's request-a-quote page carries the one figure on its site. That page states that at 25 reservation calls a day, the service would save a hotel more than $9,000 a month. The figure covers the call-centre service.
No software price, no go-live date, no minimum term and no named client property appears in the release, the product page or the request-a-quote page.
