The record lists eleven colourways. A stain-resistant finish and three backing options carry an upcharge, and preconsumer recycled content reads 95%.
The certification position on Linger
Linger holds C2C Certified Full Scope Bronze and C2C Certified Material Health Silver. The Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute issues the certificate to Designtex under certification number 12265.
The certificate names the product as 7927 Linger inside the olefin and polyester upholstery fabrics family. It runs from an effective date of 8 April 2026 to an expiration date of 7 May 2028.
The certificate carries a scope note. It reads that the supplier requirements in Section 3.2 Environmental Policy and Management and Section 8 Social Fairness have been met by the manufacturer, and that the certification holder has not been assessed against those requirements.
Abode’s own product record lists no C2C certification. Neither product record carries a hospitality application, and the vendor’s site navigation lists one vertical market, Healthcare.
The comfort language and the performance fields
The release leads on comfort. Eve Singer, principal designer at Designtex, is quoted on the collections: “These sentiments inspired Linger and Abode, two companion textiles that are inviting to the eye and soft to the hand thanks to their weave structures and tactile yarns. We invite designers to apply these materials across spaces that could use an extra dose of comfort.”
The measurable figures sit in the performance fields. Abode carries 90,000 Wyzenbeek double rubs and Linger 100,000. Both records give a five-year warranty, the same flammability classification and the same approved disinfectant list of bleach at 10:1 and isopropyl alcohol at 70%.
