Hive House Adds 45 Kitchen Suites to the Cary Day-Use Shelf

Hive House, a 45-suite hotel in Cary, North Carolina, has joined Unscripted by Hyatt, and its full-kitchen suites and fitness floor sit against an $87.69 Raleigh day-room average and 30 day-use hotels in Cary.

The conversion and the inventory it adds

Hive House has joined Unscripted by Hyatt, the soft brand inside Hyatt's Essentials Portfolio. The 45-suite hotel is the first Hyatt-branded property in Cary, North Carolina. The hotel opened independently in July 2025 and converted on 24 September 2026. CMC Hotels owns Hive House and developed the property on its own.

Hotel Dive reported the conversion on 29 September 2026 It described the hotel as converting under Unscripted.

The 45 suites

The suites run from 312 to 412 square feet. Each has a separate living space and a full kitchen. The property carries colorful interiors, curated artwork and social spaces.

Amenities listed by Hyatt include free high-speed Wi-Fi across guest suites and public areas, a fitness center with Peloton equipment and cardio machines with smart TVs, a 24-hour market, and self-service laundry open around the clock. Dogs are welcome under a policy that sets a 35-pound limit per pet and a $75 fee per stay.

The day-use fit in the building

A suite with a full kitchen and a separate living space carries a daytime workspace and a daytime kitchen. The fitness floor sells a gym pass by the session. The cafe and the 24-hour market cover the daytime refreshment a day guest buys.

Hyatt publishes no day rate, no hourly rate and no minimum stay for the property. A day-use programme on the building starts from the suite plan and the amenity list, and the rate card stays with the operator.

The cafe and the state's makers

Hive House Cafe highlights producers from across North Carolina. The listed selection includes Trophy Brewing of Raleigh, Griff's Toffee of Chapel Hill and Poppy Popcorn of Asheville, alongside fresh bakery items.

Sheri Erhart, the chief operating officer at CMC Hotels, framed the cafe as a way to introduce the state to visitors. "If someone is visiting us from another part of the country, we want them to discover Cary and North Carolina while they're here," she said.

What World of Hyatt adds

Hive House now takes bookings through Hyatt. Guests earn or redeem World of Hyatt points on eligible stays, and eligible stays count toward the Brand Explorer Award. Hyatt reported more than 1,500 hotels and all-inclusive properties in 83 countries as of 30 June 2026.
