The opening and the rooms it adds
Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced the opening of the 201-room Hyatt Regency Jiaxing Nanhu on 28 September 2026. The hotel is the first Hyatt Regency in Jiaxing. It sits in the South Lake district, near the shore of South Lake and beside Nanhu Place, a complex of retail shops, dining and entertainment.
The property opened alongside Hyatt Place Jiaxing Nanhu. The two hotels share the lakeside location and trade under separate Hyatt brands.
The daytime product on the property
Guestrooms carry dedicated workspaces, floor-to-ceiling windows and in-room technology, and complimentary Wi-Fi runs through the hotel. Concierge and room service operate around the clock. A day-use booking draws on the workspace, the pool and the club lounge.
Suites and executive floor rooms carry Regency Club access. The Club Lounge serves daily breakfast, all-day coffee and evening cocktails. The hotel runs the Camp Hyatt Kids Club.
The property holds a 24-hour fitness center with cardio and strength-training equipment and an indoor heated swimming pool. Outdoor waterside seating serves meals beside the lake, and walking and jogging paths run along South Lake.
The meeting floor
The hotel carries more than 4,500 square metres of meeting and event space, or approximately 48,400 square feet. The inventory includes a pillarless grand ballroom, a junior ballroom and 10 VIP meeting rooms. Each space carries audiovisual technology. The hotel markets the rooms for conferences, product launches, corporate banquets, weddings and social events.
Three dining venues
Three venues cover food and drink. The Lobby Lounge serves afternoon tea. Xiangyue Chinese Restaurant builds its menu on seasonal ingredients and Jiaxing flavors. Market Cafe runs an open kitchen with food stations from breakfast through dinner.
Jiaxing within an hour of three cities
Shanghai, Hangzhou and Suzhou each sit approximately one hour away by car. The hotel has high-speed rail and air access. Jiaxing is a prefecture-level city in northern Zhejiang on the Grand Canal, and it borders Shanghai, Hangzhou and Huzhou.
Landmarks near the hotel include the 5A-rated South Lake Scenic Area, the Yuehe Historic District and Zicheng Ruins Park.
The opening offer
World of Hyatt members can earn 500 bonus points on qualifying nights at the hotel from 28 September to 31 December 2026. The offer needs no registration.
