The Gas Machinery Conference runs 4 to 7 October, with a venue forecast of 900 attendees. The ISBA/IAPSS Annual Conference runs 5 and 6 October, with a venue forecast of 1,000.
The two forecasts total 1,900, or 26.8 percent of the 7,100 downtown hotel rooms the venue publishes and 40.4 percent of the 4,700 rooms it publishes as skywalk-connected.

The nights the clocks buy
ISBA/IAPSS registration opens on Sunday 4 October, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday runs 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. across a general session, four clinic blocks and a two-hour lunch. Tuesday closes at 12:15 p.m.
That programme holds a delegate for two nights, Sunday and Monday. The engineering show carries the longer pattern, through Wednesday 7 October.
Where hourly inventory fits
A district official who attends one day of a two-day programme takes one night. A local official who drives in for a session block needs a place to work between clinics.
Three published windows sit inside this week. Sunday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., when the school group registers ahead of any general session. Monday noon to 2 p.m., between clinic blocks. Tuesday at 12:15 p.m., which puts a thousand delegates into the lobby inside a quarter hour.
