Two published numbers
The Alzheimer's Association Oregon Chapter has registration open for its 2026 Oregon Caregiver Conference at the Oregon Convention Center on Tuesday, 10 November. The chapter page sets the first 250 Oregon family caregiver places at no cost. The registration listing prices the paid route at $100, and its fee range reads $0 to $100. The chapter page adds one line: seating is limited and tickets sell out fast.
Those are the only head-count signals the organiser publishes. No attendance figure appears on the chapter page, the venue page, the flyer or the registration listing. A demand read for 10 November starts from a 250-place cap, a scarcity line and no count.
One ballroom pair is the capacity clue
The venue books the day into Portland Ballroom 251-254 and 257-258. The Oregon Convention Center calendar for November 2026 lists nine events. This conference is the only one on 10 November. The calendar carries nothing on 9, 11 or 12 November.
The same ballroom block runs twice in the month's first ten days. The 2027 HBA Housing Forecast Breakfast uses 251-252-253-258 on 6 November.
Where the free tier stops
Three conditions sit on the free places. A registrant picks the Oregon Family Caregiver option, lives in Oregon, and takes a seat first-come, first-served. The registration listing adds a fourth. Registering discloses the registrant's name and contact details to Oregon Care Partners and to the State of Oregon for programme administration, compliance and reporting.
The $100 line carries no residency condition. The flyer prices the day at $100 for professionals and the general public and offers reduced student rates without a figure. The two tiers split on residency.
A registration window that closes on the event day
Registration has not closed. The listing prints a deadline of Tuesday, 10 November and a payment date at the time of registration. Payment runs by credit card only.
The organiser publishes no registration total at any point. A desk pricing this date works from the 250 cap and the scarcity line.
The night lands on Monday
The chapter page, the flyer and the registration listing print an 8 a.m. opening and a 5 p.m. close. An 8 a.m. Tuesday door puts arrival on Monday, 9 November. Lunch is included, and a happy hour follows the programme.
Thirteen hotels inside the radius
OpenStreetMap lists 13 properties tagged tourism=hotel within 1,200 metres of the venue at 777 NE Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. The nearest eight, in straight-line distance: Inn at the Convention Center on NE Holladay at 225 metres, Hyatt Regency on NE Holladay at 242, Hotel Eastlund on NE Grand at 281, Quality Inn on NE Multnomah at 424, Courtyard on NE Wasco at 498, Crowne Plaza on NE 2nd at 595, Shilo Inn Rose Garden on NE 2nd at 610, DoubleTree on NE Multnomah at 646.
Jupiter Hotel, Jupiter Next, The Society, Hotel Grand Stark and Embassy Suites sit inside the same radius. Venue parking takes $15 for up to 18 hours with no in-and-out privilege. During events the garage charges a dynamic $15 to $25 at entry. Overnight parking is prohibited, so a Monday-night guest parks at the property.
What the rate decision rests on
A desk holds three published facts for this date: 250 free places with a residency condition, a $100 paid place, and one Tuesday in a six-room ballroom block. It holds no delegate count and no agenda. The chapter page still reads "2026 Agenda Coming Soon".
Registration runs through the 24/7 Helpline on 800.272.3900 or the online route the listing points to.
