Where the 2026 SF Beer Week Timed Load Falls

The 2026 SF Beer Week set carries 313 timed starts, 212 of them between noon and 6pm, and two weekends that take 211 listings.

The published set covers 2026

The organiser's site carried the 2026 edition on 17 October 2026, with a date line of February 20 to March 1, 2026. No 2027 listing set exists yet. Activities go up about a month before the opening date.

The counts below come from the Activities page, which publishes 332 listing cards. Of those, 313 carry one date and a start time, and 19 carry a date range.

Two-thirds of the starts fall in daylight

Noon carries 73 starts, the largest single hour of the run. The block from 12pm to 2:59pm carries 118 of the 313. The block from 3pm to 5:59pm carries 94. Together the two blocks hold 212 starts, or 68 percent of the run.

The block from 6pm to 8:59pm carries 55 starts. One listing starts at 10pm, on the opening Friday. On the other nine dates the last start falls between 4pm and 8pm.

That curve puts the guest day in daylight. An operator selling hourly or daytime inventory can price a window from noon to 6pm against a programme that empties before dinner.

The two weekends carry 211 of the 313

Friday 20 to Sunday 22 February carries 104 listings. Monday 23 to Thursday 26 February carries 102. Friday 27 February to Sunday 1 March carries 107.

Saturday 28 February carries 49, Saturday 21 February 44, and Monday 23 February 17. Thursday 26 and Friday 27 carry 34 each.

The first weekend runs 28 on Friday, 44 on Saturday and 32 on Sunday. The second runs 34 on Friday, 49 on Saturday and 24 on Sunday.

The East Bay leads the region count

Across the 313 dated listings, the East Bay carries 110 and San Francisco 104. The North Bay carries 39, Silicon Valley 31 and the Coast 28. One listing carries no region tag. The 19 open-ended promotions add 11 San Francisco cards, five East Bay, two Silicon Valley and one North Bay.

The San Francisco count per date runs 11, 10, 7, 7, 9, 14, 12, 12, 15 and 7. Saturday 28 February takes the city peak at 15, and Wednesday 25 February follows at 14. The East Bay count per date runs 8, 14, 15, 6, 9, 11, 11, 9, 13 and 14. On 22 February the East Bay carries 15 of the date's 32 listings, and on 1 March 14 of 24.

Paid placement reaches 23 cards

Twenty-three cards carry the feature flag. Twenty-one of those carry a date, spread across seven dates. Saturday 28 February holds five, Sunday 22 February four, and Friday 20 and Saturday 21 three each. The pages carry no traffic figure for a feature listing, so the count is the public measure of where hosts put money.

The Fest sits inside the second-heaviest Saturday

SF Beer Week Fest starts at 1:30pm on Saturday 21 February at Salesforce Park, produced by the Guild with Barebottle Brewing. That date carries 44 listings, and 22 of them start between noon and 2:59pm.

The Fest is the ticketed tentpole. Beer service needs a ticket and a guest aged 21 or over. The park admits all ages.

The February window against the city calendar

The 2026 window closed on Sunday 1 March. GDC Festival of Gaming opens on 1 March 2027 at Moscone Center and runs five days with more than 700 sessions. A 2027 run on the published pattern closes on the date that convention opens.

That final day carried 24 listings in 2026, 14 of them in the East Bay, and its last start was 4pm.

What the organiser publishes

The week sells no single ticket. The FAQ states that each listing carries its own price, that many are pay as you go, and that some need an admission fee or an advance reservation.

A 2027 set therefore lands about a month before its opening date. Nothing in it exists to count yet.

Three counts for the 2027 set

The first count is listings per date. The second is the first and last start per date. The third is the city share per date.

The 2026 set ran first starts from 9am to 11:30am and last starts from 4pm to 10pm. The city share swung from 7 of 17 on Monday 23 February to 15 of 49 on Saturday 28 February.

Those three counts set arrival and departure nights. The organiser publishes no occupancy figure.
