TDX 2027's Two Badge Days Open a Day-Room Window

Salesforce dates TDX 2027 for 10-11 March at Moscone West, on the city's highest par-rate month at $197 a night. The 2026 pass pair of $799 and $1,899 puts a $1,100 gap beside a Yerba Buena day-use band of $91 to $152.

TDX 2027 runs Wednesday 10 and Thursday 11 March 2027 at Moscone West. The Moscone Center's events feed carries the booking across those dates, with the building listed as West. Salesforce's events page prints the same pair of dates on its TDX card under the badge line "San Francisco and Salesforce+". Registration has not opened. The one action the page publishes for 2027 is a save-the-date form.

Two badge days set the shape of the week for a hotel. They also set what a day-room operator can sell.

Two published tiers, 1,100 dollars apart

Salesforce's TDX FAQ prices the 2026 Full Conference pass at $799. The same page prices Trailblazer Bootcamp from $1,899 as an add-on, and answers the pass question with "No, Trailblazer Bootcamp is an add-on to the TDX 2026 Conference pass." No bootcamp-only pass exists.

The gap is $1,100. That figure equals 137.7 percent of the conference pass, and the bootcamp tier prices at 2.4 times the badge rate. Both numbers belong to the 2026 cycle. Salesforce has published no 2027 price.

The save-the-date panel carries one pricing sentence: "Sign up today for an exclusive low price, speaker announcements, and a sneak peek at the deep technical sessions and hands-on workshops." No date, discount value or tier boundary accompanies it. The form at salesforce.com/tdx/form-save-date-tdx27/ returned an error page when fetched on 17 October 2026.

March is the published peak month

Engine measures San Francisco at $165 a night across 3.1 million public rate observations from May 2024 to April 2026. March reads $197 on the same table, 19 percent above the city average and the highest of the twelve months. December reads $129, 35 percent below March. The publisher defines every figure as a par rate: the cheapest public price at the moment of a search, observed 10 to 180 days before check-in.

TDX 2027 lands on the highest month in that table.

The day-use shelf in the same week

dayuse.com's San Francisco page listed 20 properties on 17 October 2026. Day rates ran $91 at The Mosser to $159 at Taj Campton Place. Three of the twenty sit in Yerba Buena, the district around Moscone: The Mosser at $91, Hotel Zelos at $144 and Hotel Zetta at $152. Windows across the set open as early as 7:00 and close as late as 23:00, with 10:00 to 17:00 among the common pairs.

Read those rates against the badge. The $1,100 tier gap buys seven day rooms at Zelos's $144 and twelve at The Mosser's $91.

What a two-day booking leaves on the table

A badge day fills from morning to late afternoon. A delegate who flies home on the Thursday evening holds a room for a night they sleep through on a plane, and a delegate who lands on the Wednesday morning holds one for a night they do not need. A day room covers the hours between a checkout and a flight.

The tier gap points at a different guest. A bootcamp buyer starts three days early, so one registration page produces a five-night stay and a two-night stay.

What the housing terms say

The FAQ publishes the rules that govern the block. Hotel booking opens only after an attendee completes individual registration. Rooms are limited. Every hotel requires a one-night deposit as a guarantee, and the card on file may be charged one night plus tax after the hotel cutoff date.

Cancellations follow each hotel's own policy, which the FAQ places between two weeks and five days before arrival. A late cancellation costs one night's room and tax. A no-show cancels the whole reservation, and the one-night penalty stands.

After Monday 30 March 2026, attendees deal with the hotel directly. One room per attendee, and hotel reservations are nontransferable.

The week either side

Moscone's feed returns three records for March 2027. GDC Festival of Gaming runs 1 to 5 March in North, South and West. TDX follows on 10 and 11 March in West. The American Academy of Dermatology Annual Meeting runs 19 to 23 March in all three buildings.

TDX opens five days after GDC closes and eight days before AAD opens. The 2027 edition takes one building, while the month's two longer events take all three.

A hotel pricing the TDX window reads a two-day, single-building booking inside a month that carries a five-day event on each side of it. A day-room rate cut for the badge days runs against a city at its annual peak.

What to watch before the badge count moves

Five published items will answer the demand question first. The date registration opens. The 2027 Full Conference price against $799. The 2027 bootcamp price against $1,899. The 2027 bootcamp dates against the 10-11 March badge days. The 2027 hotel cutoff against the opening.

Until those publish, the $1,100 tier gap, the $197 March par rate and the $91 to $152 Yerba Buena day band are the quotable numbers, each carrying its own basis label and the date of its read.
