Miami Book Fair Prices Five Nights at $20 to $45

Twelve of 26 ticketed sessions carry a price from $20 to $50 across 15-22 November 2026, and the five nights before the free Friday total $245 a seat.

Twelve prices across eight days

The Miami Book Fair lists 26 ticketed sessions across two pages of listings on 21 October 2026. Twelve carry a price. The ladder runs from $20 to $50.

Fourteen sessions in the same list cost nothing. The priced ones spread across all eight nights of the run.

The ladder, night by night

Sunday 15 November carries two at $35. Planet Money runs at 5 p.m. in the Auditorium. Tony Shalhoub and Josie Adams run at 7 p.m. in the Chapman Conference Center.

Monday 16 November carries one at $20. Salman Rushdie and Rachel Eliza Griffiths start at 8 p.m. in Chapman.

Tuesday 17 November carries two. David Grutman runs at 6:30 p.m. at $30 in Building 2, Room 2106. Jeff Garlin and Peter Mehlman run at 8 p.m. at $45 in the Auditorium.

Wednesday 18 November carries one at $20. Brad Meltzer and Brad Thor start at 8 p.m. in the Auditorium.

Thursday 19 November carries two in the Auditorium. Elena Armas with Meg Cabot runs at 6:30 p.m. at $25. Colson Whitehead runs at 8 p.m. at $35.

Friday 20 November carries one at $20. Victoria Aveyard starts at 7 p.m. in the Auditorium.

Saturday 21 November carries two. Margaret Atwood and Jess Gibson start at 11 a.m. at $20 in Chapman. A fiction panel runs at 2:45 p.m. at $30 in the Auditorium.

Sunday 22 November closes the run at $50. Christopher Rice and Eric Shaw Quinn start at 6:30 p.m. in Chapman.

What a Tuesday asks

Tuesday holds the top of the five-night block. A visitor can take the $30 session at 6:30 p.m. and the $45 session at 8 p.m., 90 minutes apart.

One seat at every priced session from 15 to 19 November costs $245. That averages $30.63 a seat across eight sessions.

One seat at all twelve priced sessions costs $365, or $30.42 a seat. The $50 rung stands at 2.5 times the $20 floor.

The five nights before the free Friday run $20 to $45. The weekend adds the $50 ceiling.

The free Friday sends the gate to zero

Friday 20 November carries no Street Fair gate charge. Gates open at 9 a.m., and the grounds run 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The 7 p.m. session still costs $20 in the Auditorium. Jaime Bayly reads in Spanish at 7 p.m. in Building 2, Room 2106, free of charge.

Saturday and Sunday carry a gate. Single-day Street Fair admission runs $12 for an adult, $7 for a senior over 62 and $5 for a teen aged 13 to 18. A multiday ticket runs $18, $12 and $8. Children 12 and under enter free, and Miami Dade College students, faculty and staff enter free with an ID.

The 6:30 slot splits free and priced

Monday and Wednesday put a free session in Building 2, Room 2106, at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday put a priced session in that hour, in Building 2 and the Auditorium.

The same hour carries a free room on two nights and a paid room on two others.

Friends of the Fair reach the ticketed sessions through membership benefits, subject to membership level.

What the pages publish, and what they leave open

The Fair publishes no attendance figure. No page carries a seat count for the Auditorium, the Chapman Conference Center or Room 2106.

No page names a hotel partner, a room block, a hotel rate or a booking code. The four pages read for this piece run to the ticketed programme, the Street Fair, parking and the FAQ.

The FAQ states that almost all programming and events are free, with a few exceptions. It places the priced exceptions at some Evenings With sessions and a handful of weekend author sessions.

Parking runs free at the MDC Wolfson Campus garage, 500 NE Second Ave., for the eight days. The MPA College Station at 190 NE Third St. sells a flat $5 rate for 15-22 November.

The demand read

A $45 seat on a Tuesday puts a price on a midweek November evening in downtown Miami. Five nights run a ladder from $20 to $45 before the free Friday.

Saturday prices a morning at $20 and an afternoon at $30. Sunday prices a 6:30 p.m. close at $50.

A revenue manager holds those readings against a free garage and a $5 lot in the same week. The programme states what the audience pays for a seat. The gate states what it pays to walk in.
